In the 2016 Stanley Cup final, three minutes from winning, an NHL veteran's legs cramped and he couldn't go out when his coach called. Years later a teammate handed him a gel, and he felt the power in his legs from the first shift. Teammates asked if it was a steroid. It wasn't: it's tested clean for sport. Word spread from team to team, and today it's used across professional hockey and beyond.
